Staying grounded on the roller coaster with the Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon

Staying grounded on the roller coaster

Or maybe it’s “rebounding with grace and joy after each fall on the journey”… definitely CLICK HERE to watch a wonderful, tiny illustration of this month’s theme (hint: look closely at the above photo!)

Full disclosure… it’s taken me days to get inspired and motivated to write my Deb’s Picks this month – watching that short video is what finally got me going. Blame it on the crazy combo of highs and lows in my personal life over the last month (that roller coaster). Or maybe it’s the equally whacked-out stew of global, economic, and political issues bubbling around us right now.

And then, there’s the powerful energy of this intense eclipse cycle we’re in the midst of. Starting with the partial Solar Eclipse on the Scorpio New Moon on October 25th and extending through the total Lunar Eclipse on the Taurus Full moon on November 8th (and beyond), the cosmos are zapping us big time, too. Remember, even when the eclipses aren’t visible in your part of the world, you’re still being affected by them.

It’s enough to make me want to crawl under the covers and hibernate for a few months.

But, oh wait – that’ll be a lot easier as well after this weekend when we set the clocks back and continue into the darkest weeks of the year leading up to the Winter Solstice!

Understanding the energy of the Taurus Moon in Scorpio season

Of course, that intensity is only accentuated as we’re in the Scorpio season now from October 22nd to November 22nd. So, regardless of what your Sun sign is, we’ll all be feeling that urge to dive deep into our psyches. This is the time to face our fears and shadow-selves in order to transform them into our own brand of personal power. You can read more about that energy in my Scorpio New Moon blog.  (And definitely check out the recording of my virtual New Moon SisterCircle I facilitated through the Wellness Universe on October 25th  if you want to do some of that deep soul-diving with the support of your ancestors!)

With the earthy energy of the Taurus Full Moon coming up on November 8th, we’ve got a solid counter-balance to the passionate, intense Scorpio Sun energy shining down on us. (Remember, while the Sun and Moon dancing cheek-to-cheek on the New Moon, they’re tango-ing in opposite signs on the Full Moon).

Taurus wants us to pay attention to all of our senses — what we can touch, taste, smell, hear, and feel – to re-ground ourselves and feel more secure when life is over the top. It’s ruled by the planet Venus which is concerned with money and love, and reminds us to revel in our sensuality.

So, my Deb’s Picks this month reflect all of those themes in one way or another.

Check them out below and let me know what resonates with you.

Then, be sure to join us for my upcoming Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon TeleMeditation next Tuesday, November 8th at Noon — click HERE for details on how to join us. Hope to “hear” you then!

And here’s all those sensual Picks…

Yup, I’m forming my next Positive Intelligence (PQ) pod in January! What makes this related to our Taurus theme this month? The fact that the most important way we can recover when we’ve been hijacked by those inner gremlins is to come back to our bodies and 5 senses with “PQ reps” — just like the gym, but for your brain! The PQ work is based on a ton of research, with over 500,000 participants, world class athletes, and leaders from every Fortune 100 company, and has has actually been shown to improve well-being, strengthen relationships and enhance performanceGO HERE for details, but trust me when I say that this 7-week program work is life-changing — ask me about it!

If you know me at all, you know what a proponent I am of aromatherapy. Our sense of smell is considered the most evocative of all the senses since it’s directly connected to our limbic system, the seat of our memories and emotions. You’ll get a sampling of the wonderful sprays my dear goddess-sister Barbara Biziou has created  HERE. And if you CLICK HERE, you’ll get literally hundreds of other mysts conjured up by Rachel Ginther in her magical Garden of One. I love working with essential oils to ground and center me… and the sprays and mysts feel especially sensuous!

Katie has been a New Moon CircleSister for years and also happens to be a wonderful singer and performer. Her voice always grounds and energizes me at the same time — yet another one those 5 senses we’re focusing on this month. She’s remounting this one-woman show about the worst time in her life… being engaged — fans have called it, “stand up comedy with ballads!” She’s launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise seed money for all expenses. Check out her website to learn more about her, then GO HERE to support her GoFundMe.

AJ is a former client and now fabulous friend who has created this powerful program to guide you out of debt and into prosperity! In just a few months, you’ll learn her step-by-step method to getting out of debt, leveraging debt, and changing your debt psychology; define your savings goals and put into motion the plan to achieve your cash/investment/retirement goals. You will find out exactly when, where, and how to start investing, and how to maximize your retirement contributions. And, icing on the cake, she’s offering a 30% discount for a limited time — the discount code is  PRESALE1122. Now is THE time to get your money issues in order, with the Venus-ruled Taurus Full Moon coming up so CLICK HERE and get started!

I’ve highlighted the powerful “Stand Up, Speak Out” docuseries on women’s rights that my dear friend Katherine Brewster is producing in previous Deb’s Picks. Their latest newsletter offers simple, important ways to get the vote out to protect, regain, and expand women’s rights, among other important issues. Election Day is on Tuesday, November 8th, right on the Full Moon and we all need to get people out to VOTE. Then go to the Stand Up-Speak Out website, too, to learn more about this important project.

I hope you’ll check out some of these powerful offerings and of course, I’d love to hear about ones you’ve found, too!
